I switched off Safari in the Screen Time > Allowed Apps section. I would expect that this blocks Safari completely.
However, when I tap the Search field on the apps screen and enter a search string, the first result I get is the suggestion to search for this with Safari! When I click on it, Safari is starting.
Any help appreciated, how can I block Safari completely?

I found a workaround which (for me) effectively yields the desired result:
In the Screentime section I use the setting: Allowed websites only and delete all entries below. So there are no websites allowed anymore. The suggestion to search in Safari is still there, but does not lead anywhere anymore.
safari is something you can't turn off and you cannot uninstall

Well, I would say that is not the expected behavior...
When Apple adds a slider where you can switch off Safari, I would expect Safari is not available anymore to the user...
