I inadvertently turned off my Bluetooth. Need to turn back on. I also do not have a Mac compatible keyboard but can type basic commands. Need to get my Bluetooth turned back on.

Windows alt key = Mac Option key or ⌥, also called alt key on Mac sometimes.
