Can I fill up my iPhone with music to the brim?

The reason I am asking is because I don't want problems with the phone itself. I might be a silly question but I rather be safe than sorry.

No, that's a very bad idea. People have filled up their phones and reported it completely locked up their phone to the point they had to reset the phone and lost everything. Also, fo perform an iOS update you need approx 6 to 10 gigs of free space.

If you fill up the phone "to the brim", you will have no storage space left for updates or any new apps on the phone.

It's the same as filling up a glass with water "to the brim". Can you add more water?
