When is it a good time to change my 2017 MacBook Air battery?

Hi guys, I was having a question since I bought my first MacBook, when is a good time to change the battery of the device, my MacBook Air 2017 has 400 cycles and says that is normal, but I don’t feel a long battery life, and where is recommended to replace the battery?

If its status is "normal" then Apple will be reluctant to replace it, whether you want them to or not.

Hi! I think it is just the battery being used over time, which can happen. My MBP from that year has really bad battery life, but quitting any apps open in the background and turning down the brightness often helps.
