Just try and delete one, doesn’t work. I think they have a bug!
The next time you see two icons for the same app, just perform a Force Restart and this will clear any caches that may be causing the issue. This has occurred for others even using iOS 16 and earlier.

I found two identical icons in a group. This happened to be one for eBay. Unfortunately when I tried to delete one, it deleted both. This isn’t the 1st time that has happened since iOS 17 came out. Does anyone have any idea what’s to do!
