is this a legit email?
i have not shared any information via my Apple account
I have changed Apple ID password
Just using basic safe browsing/email techniques, you should not click links or provide any personal information even if it appears to come from Apple. Email addresses can be easily spoofed. Emails should be used as an information only source that does not require a response. If you need to follow up from an email, then do that with a known source of the company that provided the email.
You did the right thing by changing your Apple ID, and I see no need to follow up any further from that email.
