Unable to go back to the previous page with the back arrow option on my iPhone

Mine is iPhone 14. As soon as I get into any app I am unable to reverse back with the back arrow option in my left corner , my current is IOS 17.5.1 and I’ve tried , reset network settings and restart options still nothing happened , please help me.

Ive attached a pic below from my phone. For more details. Can you see the general option in left corner I cannot click that this is an example. That portion is not working at all

You need to determine whether that portion of the screen works other than just for “going back” events. Can you determine that? You can open Safari and then rotate the screen to landscape mode and see whether that portion of the screen still works.

If it does not work, then you may have a failing touch screen.

Which restart options have you tried? Try and Force Restart your iPhone EXACTLY as shown below and see whether that resolves the issue:

Press and quickly release Volume UP button
Press and quickly release Volume DOWN button
Press and Hold the SIDE button until an Apple logo appears and then release the Side button (Can take up to 20 seconds. (DO NOT release Side Button when invited to Slide Power OFF).

I recommend that you contact 👉 Official Apple Support OR you can always get your iPhone examined at the Apple Store 👉 Genius Bar Reservation and Apple Support Options or at an Authorized Service Center for further diagnosis and evaluation.
