Date and Time issue/ CMOS Battery
So I went on vacations and forgot to switch off my laptop. Upon return I noticed that the date and time goes back to June 2023 (probable that's the date my laptop was made maybe). Anyhow, I did some search and used the date command at Terminal (sudo sntp -sS time.apple.com) to fix the date and time. However, this turned out be a temporary solution as my date and time gets rest randomly every now and then while I am using the laptop. Each time I have to go to the Terminal, input the command to reset the time and date (I had to reset the time and date 4 times while writing these details). I am unable to find a permanent solution on any of the forms. Could this be a CMOS battery issue? Do Mac's even have CMOS battery? I am using a MacBook Air M1, 2020
