How to ask Siri to power off without it asking me if I want to power off or cancel

I would like Siri to power off without asking me if I want to power off or cancel. I would like to just power off when I ask Siri to do so. How do I do that?

As of now you have to answer if you want to power off or cancel. I guess they want you to confirm. No setting from what I can find changes that.

You're very welcome.

Consider that unless you don't intend to use your iPad for many days, there is little practical benefit in routinely shutting-down your iPad - as normal background tasks (such as reindexing the filesystem, retrieving email and performing automatic backups to iCloud) are prevented from running.

A fully charged iPad left "sleeping" will be able to continue running for a week or more. If you do intend to leave the iPad unused and not recharged for several days, that might be the time to manually shut-down the iPad. This can be performed simply from iPad settings:

Settings > General > Shut Down
