MBP M1 - plugged in and occasionally, it doesn't charge and then it does!!!
I usually work with my MBP plugged in and at 100%. However, in the last week I've noticed something.
When I have my MBP M1 plugged in, it indicates that it's charging because I get the charging symbol on the menu bar but the charge gradually decreases. Then, after reaching, say, low 90s, it starts to charge or sometimes it drops to low 80s and then starts to charge.
When this happens, I've powered it off, removed power cable, waited a bit, restarted, and still the same. I get the charging 'bloop' sound, the menu bar icon changes to charging, and still it gradually loses charge.
Then, it's ok and behaves as it should with it remaining at 100% when I'm using it plugged in.
I thought about resetting the SMC but the M1 doesn't have one. I have recently done a Sonoma upgrade (v14.5) but this issue may or may not have started at the same time.
Any ideas would be appreciated.
