Is Replay 2024 accurate? I don't think so....

Why is apple music Replay 2024 including three songs I haven't even played in 2024, in one instance not played since 2021? Also, why does one of my most repeatedly-played songs this year (which was released by the artist in April 2024) not appear in the top 100 at all.

Being a bit of a music nerd, I do like the Replay feature, and I look forward to seeing my latest top 100 on a Sunday morning (my life isn't quite as sad as that sounds). But it makes me wonder how accurate the Replay algorithm is and whether it is worth taking too much notice of.

I think in past years it was pretty accurate and I could predict what would be in my top plays based on my listening habits. This year, it just doesn't seem right.

I'm playing music mostly on iphone SE and itunes for windows.
