Daily Cash from Apple Card hasn't been coming in for months

I've had an Apple Card for a couple years. Apparently I reached the $499.98 mark in the Cash card in the wallet back in October with my last Daily Cash transaction being 10/23/23. I've made quite a bit of purchases since then, with no history in the latest transaction history.

After googling a little bit, I found out needing to verify my account to go over the $500 mark. But does this mean that the last few months of transactions are nullified? Clearly I haven't been paying attention to it, but I don't see why I'd be penalized for not knowing about some $500 max limit.

Anyone have any thoughts?

Thanks

The funds are being held in a separate non-accessible account until on you verify your identity for Apple Cash. Once Apple Cash account is setup, you can call an Apple Card Specialist at Goldman Sachs and request the release of the funds.

You might also want to consider have your Apple Cash automatically transfer to a High Yield Savings Account (HYSA), Apple Savings. It’s currently paying 4.40% APY and transfers between Apple Cash and Apple Savings are free.
