Touch ID has stopped working on my MacBook Pro running Ventura

My 3.1 GHz Dual-Core Intel Core i5 MBP has completely lost the ability to use Touch ID. There are no options in system settings to even set it up. Using Ventura 13.6. I am at a lost. It is actually a feature I like from the Touch Bar!

On Intel try both—

resetting the System Management Controller Reset the SMC of your Mac - Apple Support

&

resetting NVRAM/PRAM Reset NVRAM on your Mac - Apple Support

(get at least two-three rounds of the chimes when holding the NVRAM Reset)

if no resolve it typically indicates a hardware failure

In or out of warranty you can get a free over the counter 'Apple Service Diagnostics' test /assessment

Make an appointment for a "hardware issue"

Genius Bar Reservation and Apple Support Options - Apple

Outside the USA

Thank you for the quick response! Unfortunately, I tried resetting the SMC and NVRAM an still no change. I guess its off to the genius bar! :(

It's a weird condition. When I type in Touch ID in system settings, it will bring up the option but all that is there the options for changing your password and adding your Apple Watch. No options to activate the Touch ID. I don't if it is connected, but I'm also having problems with my autofill from the Touch Bar (which used to work like a champ) and now is blank when there are options for autofill. Additionally, in general AutoFill has stopped working. Again, thank you for your quick response. John
