2006 MacBook pro won't turn on

2006 MacBook pro fans spin and screen latch light up but the screen and back apple logo stay black. I've held cmd option p r and power button but all it does is make a beep and shuts off the fans. I've also held Ctrl shift option power button but that does nothing. So please help.

If the display has failed try plugging in an external monitor and compare your results...

Sounds like the GPU has failed.

I already posted an option above if you want a more definitive assessment.

Could be a bad PRAM Battery. I believe the PRAM battery connection may be accessible either beneath the Keyboard or from the memory access door. Just disconnect the PRAM Battery and try to power on the laptop.

If the main Lithium Battery is at 0% or bad, then it may also prevent the laptop from powering on & booting as well. Try removing the main Lithium Battery & try powering on the laptop using just the charger. You may need to press & hold the power button for an extra second, or even press the power button several times to trigger a power on when the battery is disconnected.
