Apple Studio Display suddenly stopped working
It’s connected to an M2 Mac Mini running the latest version of Sonoma (my M1 MacBook Air says that’s 14.5). After recharging my Satechi ST-AMBK Bluetooth wireless keyboard and my Apple Magic Mouse yesterday, I cannot get the display to wake up by tapping the space bar on the keyboard or by left-clicking the mouse. I’ve tried unplugging the display power cord and plugging it back in after a few minutes; when I do that, I see three dots on the display for a few seconds, then it goes blank again. I’ve also tried detaching and reattaching the display’s thunderbolt cable from both the display and the computer to no avail. In addition, I’ve tried attaching the display’s thunderbolt cable to my M1 MacBook Air, and the laptop does not recognize that it’s connected. Is this a display hardware or software problem, and is there a way to correct it without hauling the display to an Apple Store?
