Authentication Failed; Unable to add Google Account in macOS SONOMA
I have a MacBook Pro M3 Pro with Sonoma 14.5.
When I try to add my Google account via "System Settings" or "Mail app" or "Calendar app" after going through two steps verification in a web browser, it says "Authentication Failed, failed to authenticate with Google, please try again later":
I tried many solutions:
- Change the browser to Chrome, Edge & Firefox
- Boot Mac into Safe Mode
- Using app password in Google account
- Removing Gmail & Google items from "Keychain Access"
- Using VPN to change the location
- Turning off the location service in Mac Setting
- Unchecked the Privacy setting in Safari (remove Cross Site Tracking, Hide IP Address & ...)
- Unchecked "Use advanced tracking and fingerprinting protection"
- Tried to add account from "Mail" instead of "Setting"
- Changed DNS of WiFi to Google ones
- Tried every solution in This Conversation Link
- ...
None of them worked !!!
Anyone has a working solution? It is really annoying and disappointing.
