sold old device to eco atm and turned off find my phone but didnt erase it

hi all , so im sure this sounds ridiculous...but i just sold an old phone to the eco atm , i have done it before and for some reason i thought it told you to erase the phone before they took it. It did tell me to turn off the find my phone , but didnt give me the option to erase it before it took it. Naturally i am just concerned because i cant remember all the info i had on it . Has anyone else delt wth this ? or is anyone familiar if the eco atm will automatically wipe the phones they get ? thanks for any info !
