Monitor recommendations for Mac mini

I have a Mac mini that is 1.5 years old. It either has the M1 or the M2. I need a 22 to 27 inch monitor that has built-in speakers and a WebCam in order to do conference calls on a daily basis. Preferably higher than 1080 pixel. I’m not sure what else I need outside of those specifications. Any recommendations that are cheaper than buying an apple monitor (though I do love my old Mac desktop)? I am not high-tech on computers/monitors by any means, so this will not be used for gaming or video editing, etc..

Might want to take a look at

  • 27" 2560x1440 pixel monitors
  • 27" 3840x2160 pixel monitors (which could be run in Retina "like 2560x1440" mode)

Neither will be as sharp as a 27" 5K monitor, but as a rule, either will be much more affordable, and the 4K monitors may provide better "like 2560x1440" text than the real 2560x1440 monitors could provide at their native setting.

If you care about basic color accuracy, look for an IPS panel and near-100% coverage of sRGB.
