No audio input recognised when using Mac mini with TV

I have connected my Mac mini with Sony Smart TV in my conference room.

During video conferencing, I'm receiving the audio output through the TV Speakers but my audio input is not recognised (The TV has built in mic but in sound settings on the Mac mini it says no audio input devices found).

I have connected the Mac mini to the TV via a HDMI cable.

Help me how to use the mic of the TV as an audio input while using Mac mini with the TV for video conferencing.

HDMI only caries video and audio output.

You need a USB Webcam w/Mic for video and audio conferencing.

If you have a USB Webcam, try selecting the Webcam's Mic in the Mac mini's sound input settings.
