Is Premium Techie Support scammers back?

Back in 2018, I was conned by Premium Techie Support who manage to get in excess of £400 from me

They've just contacted me, claiming that I had committed to a subscription fee of £800 per year for 10 years with a 5 years billing process, hence calling for a payment of £8000 or only £4000 if I was to cancel the subscription... Despite a threat of freezing my computer and legal prosecution if I did not pay, I told them I was not going to pay anything... I've now just found that they were reported back in 2018 & 2019 on the Apple community... So this is a warning: they are back and willing to get your money!

Just recieved a call from Premium Techie Support about software they say i purchased in May 2018 and asking for a five year renewal. I have no record of this transaction and have warned my bank. Pretty sure this is a scam!

Please see here:

Apple doesn’t make outgoing calls to customers, unless agreed to shortly previously (i.e. call back).

You might get emails if services are close to expiring, but not calls. Renewals would be automatic if agreed to, or else just expire silently.

Check which phone numbers are correct and really Apple contacts:

Contact Apple for support and service - Apple Support

and maybe Contact - How to contact us - Apple
