The Touch Bar on my MacBook Pro M2 has stopped working

I have a m2 macbook pro. Today the touchbar stopped working. There are no lights and it doesn't respond to touch. I have tried the commands in terminal, and have tried to force quit it in the activity monitor. How can i fix this?

I have also reset my macbook, so i don't think it is my settings.

M2 SoC - SMC reset equivalent is Shut down, close the lid 30 secs+ , reboot as normal

no resolve—Try a SafeBoot Use safe mode on your Mac - Apple Support will sort many anomalies.

login and test, reboot as normal and compare your results.

you can try revive or restore Mac firmware

How to revive or restore Mac firmware - Apple Support

User Diagnostics to test your Mac, not as definitive as Apples backbench AST2 (Apple Service Toolkit)

Use Apple Diagnostics to test your Mac - Apple Support

If no resolve I would suspect hardware issue—

In or out of warranty you can get a free over the counter 'Apple Service Diagnostics' test /assessment

Make an appointment for a "hardware issue"
