How to claim 6 months free Apple Music with new Phone?
I have email saying I would get 6 months free with new phone
I went to keep this Apple Music out and only says one month who is lying

Seems there are trials of differing time-periods available, depending on various factors, and generally they are for new subscribers only ... Eg: seems: the one month free trial is available for anyone who has never subscribed to Apple Music before.
In my country (Australia) the current promotion seems to be 6 months free Apple Music for new subscribers, with eligible AirPods, HomePod or Beats.1
Eg: You may need to check you have the latest iOS version on the iPhone, (check in Settings > General > Software Update) and to apply on that newly purchased iPhone using the link provided in the email from Apple, before the promotion period expires.
Apple support's online article (link below) may be helpful: Eg: you can check your eligibility, check if the promotion is still current and available in your country or region.
