Alarm Won't Go Off if Spotify Is Open

I've seen this issue on here and on Reddit before but because I really want a solution I'm reiterating it. When Spotify is open on my phone, even if my phone is off with Spotify in the background, my alarms won't sound, and this is very problematic because I rely on these alarms to wake up every morning. It doesn't matter if Spotify isn't even playing anything at the time the alarm goes off. As long as the app is open, alarms will be silenced. Dear Apple, FIX THIS PRETTY PLEASE.
