If you have forgotten (or have no other record of) your Outlook Account Password, you might be well advised to rectify as a matter of priority - resetting your Password to something that you do know.
Otherwise, sooner or later, without knowledge of your Password you will find yourself locked-out from your account with no way to recover access to your email from any computer.

Deleting your Outlook Mail account from your iPad will not directly affect your PC - but will reduce the potential places that you can easily access your Mail. Should you choose to delete the account from your iPad, the process is trivial:
Settings > Mail > Accounts > [Your Outlook Mail Account] > Delete Account
Deleting the account removes the account from the iPad - along with any locally stored copies of your email.
Be aware that many email providers, Microsoft included, now require the use of App Specific Passwords when accessing mail over IMAP or POP3 mailboxes from anything other than their own Mail App. If this applies to your email account, you will need to generate a unique password for your iPad email account - that will differ from your normal Account Password.
Microsoft accounts include live.com, outlook.com and hotmail.com domains.
If you need to generate an App Specific Password, you’ll need to log-in to your Mail Providers account management webpage - using a web browser - and generate the Password from the appropriate account security page.
