I recently purchased a refurbished iPhone 12. When it arrived, I opened the box and the phone itself was hot. Not the package or box just the phone itself. Should I be concerned. I need to know before I take it to have data from my iPhone 8 transferred to the 12.

Yes, I would return the phone and buy from a different Apple authorized retailer.
