I just noticed today that my weather app doesn't load the weather for my locations. It has the location service icon appear when opening the app, but nothing happens.
This is the case for all three of my devises; Apple Watch, iPhone and iMac.
It seemed to occur after the last update.
The system status says weather is green light.
Any help?

I don’t think we mean the iOS software update. It’s unlikely that the 17.5.x thing is the problem, since lots of folks on both sides of the did/ didn’t update game had “Weather” go blank today.
We mean that the engineers trying to fix whatever took the Weather App itself offline at THEIR end should update the system status board that there is an outage. Otherwise hundreds of iPhone users will waste time trying to reboot or otherwise fiddle with their phones.
TLDR: Your phone is fine, the App crashed. System status should be updated to say so.

It’s Apple Weather Kit, it’s having updating issues all over the world. One of my two locations just now started updating again
it just started working again...just let it load for a minute and everything will be fine!
I opened it on all of my 3 devices(iPhone 13 pro max, iPhone 15 pro max and macbook m2) and let it load...now its working
Same with myself and my wife’s iPhone 15 pro, just updated and no weather app. It says the weather app isn’t connected to the internet! Come apple you’ve been doing this long enough to test before updates are completed!!!!!!
Same. It’s telling me it has no internet but my data is turned on. When I check weather settings it takes me to wifi only. But looking in the app details I’ve okayed phone data usage. It’s been acting up for a while but after the last update it’s Completely messed up. Hope they fix it ASAP
It appears to be an Apple issue, as I have now seen a couple reports, although there is no mention in the status page (notoriously slow to show outages).
Just posted same & someone else confirmed in the replies.
I guess the service is offline for some reason, but they haven’t updated the status?
Same problem. Weather app not updating. Another Apple bug and they will not admit fault. Always the same.
All of my weather apps using Apple Kit are not updating today, and I have 4 of them!
I have not updated my phone yet and it’s happening to me so I don’t think it is an update issue.
