If you've set up your iOS or iPadOS device to make Personal Requests on HomePod, your HomePod mini can use your iOS or iPadOS device to place and receive phone calls.

Can HomePod Mini announce calls? Currently I have an iPhone set up with Siri, which also announces calls and can pickup calls when they come in. I also have a HomePod Mini, which is set up so that when calls come in on this iPhone, I can get Siri to pickup the call using the HomePod. But right now, the call announcement is only done by the iPhone and not HomePod. If the phone is near me and I can hear the announcement, then I can get HomePod to pick up the call. If the phone is not near, then I won't hear the call announcement and may miss the call. How can I change the setup so that HomePod will announce the incoming call? Is this even possible? Thank you very much in advance.
