Does anyone know how I can find the printer driver to connect my MacBook Air (OS Sonoma 14.5) with my Brother HP-2140 Laser printer?

Do you mean Brother HL-2140 ? If so, as also indicated by the article provided by Ozzie1910, you could perhaps try the macOS 10.15 Catalina driver. There have been reports about some other models where this has worked with a few newer operating system versions as well.

Look upon this as an experiment. You may want to try resetting the printing system and re-adding the printer.
