How to transfer contacts from iCloud to iPhone manually

I recently got a new iPhone. In transferring "contacts" I got a list called "All iCloud", but the main list which is called "....@gmail.com" did not automatically download to my phone. Is there a manual way to move this list from my iPad?

Those contacts are associated with your gmail account and not with your iCloud account. They are on your iPad because your gmail account is setup on your iPad.

What you will need to do is add your gmail account to your iPhone as well and those contacts should sync and show up on your iPhone.
