Unable to Record with iCloud+ Subscription Despite Using Only 2 Cameras

### Unable to Record with iCloud Subscription Despite Using Only 2 Cameras

I have a 200GB iCloud subscription, which includes the ability to upload recordings from up to 5 cameras. I use 2 eufy Cam cameras, but when I try to set "Stream and enable recording," I get the message: "To record from this camera, upgrade your subscription or disable recording from another camera."

I have removed the cameras, rebooted all devices, including the HomePod mini and eufy base, but nothing has worked.

I want to mention that this issue appeared suddenly and has been ongoing for over a month.

Does anyone know how to solve this?

I'm sorry you're experiencing this issue. Here are a few steps you can try to resolve it:

1. Check iCloud Storage:

- Ensure you have enough storage available in your iCloud account. Go to Settings > [Your Name] > iCloud > Manage Storage to check.

2. Verify Subscription:

- Confirm that your iCloud+ subscription is active and correctly reflects the ability to use HomeKit Secure Video. Go to Settings > [Your Name] > Subscriptions to verify.

3. Reset Home App:

- Remove the cameras from the Home app, then reset the Home app settings. Re-add the cameras and configure the recording settings again.

4. Update Software:

- Ensure all your devices (iPad, HomePod mini, eufy base) are running the latest software versions.

5. Check Camera Settings:

- In the Home app, go to Home Settings > Home Hubs & Bridges and ensure your HomePod mini is set up as a home hub. Check the camera settings under Home Settings > Cameras & Doorbells and ensure "Stream & Allow Recording" is enabled.

6. Contact Apple Support:

- If the issue persists, contact Apple Support. There might be an account-specific issue or a bug that they need to address on their end.
