Removal Of Activation Lock

My iPad is now in an activation lock with my mobile number but when i enter the apple ID, it is showing incorrectly. When i sign into the i cloud using the same mobile number, the iPad is not visible in my devices and the bill for the purchase of the iPad is not available as it was long ago purchased, So now, how can i continue to use the device?

The iPad is locked to a different Apple ID. If you have no idea what Apple ID it is locked to, then you will need to provide the original purchase receipt from Apple or Authorized Apple seller. Since you have no idea what Apple ID it is locked to and do not have the proof of purchase needed, then the device will no longer be usable.

If you are able to figure out the Apple ID that was used to set the device up, then you can reset the password for that Apple ID to gain access. There is no way to bypass the Activation Lock as this is what prevents a thief from accessing a device when it is stolen. In that case, they would not know the Apple ID or have proof of purchase.
