iPhone 15 won’t connect with my music on my car

I recently traded in my iPhone 13 for an iPhone 15 I knew the charging port will be changed so I bought a cord for my car to connect my phone to play music. mind you I own a 2013 Nissan juke that does not offer Bluetooth to play music so I have to use a USB port to connect my phone in order to play music through my car.

so I purchased a new phone charger for my car and when I connected to my new phone, it will not charge nor will it play music through my car. Did anybody who had a similar issue get that resolved and what did you do or purchase in order for it to play music and charge your phone?
