I just got a new iPad Pro 12.9, the battery was fantastic until I updated to 17.5.1. Now, when I play YouTube it drains faster than water going down a drain. What’s up with that and how do I fix it???

Is the iPad updated in the latest couple of days? Then there could be still indexing of the iPadOS going on in the background, it will return to normal in a few days
Also, is this only happening when using YouTube? Then you might want to delete the YouTube app and reinstall it to see if the issues are persisting

Yes, just the last few days, and it updated by itself. I was surprised, because I usually have my devices set where I do the updates manually.
And yes, just YouTube!! Thanks for the suggestion! I will try it out!!!!!
