using ethernet and wifi at the same time

I work with a mixer that is connected to the Mac mini via ethernet and I use wifi at the same time to stream the service of my church thru the internet so I need both. previously we had a Intel Mac mini and we had no issue having both types of connections enable. But we upgrade to a m1 Mac mini and some times we have turn wifi on and of so that the Mac can connect to the mixer via ethernet. Is there a permanent solution to this?
