i accidentally deleted an app for a journal that I used. It had entries (almost daily) for 14 months. I am just sick over this. But the app is no longer available in app store, but it IS in my purchase history n there was a restore point created 1/2 hour before I deleted it. Is there any way to retrieve my data?

Apps are not backed up. Depending on how the app developer coded the app, the in app data would be, but not the app itself. If you were to restore a backup, the app would be re-downloaded from the App Store assuming it is still available.
If the developer pulled it from the App Store or it was removed for not complying with the rules for apps, then you may be out of luck.
Contact the app developer. Maybe the app was replaced by a newer, different app that can read the data...
Do you have a backup of the phone that was completed......before.....you deleted the app by mistake?
