Logic Pro 10 project: Audio Unit reported a problem

Whenever I open a specific project in Logic Pro X, I get the following message:

An Audio Unit plug-in reported a problem which might cause the system to become unstable. Please quit and restart Logic Pro.

I can either recover or quit. When I click on 'recover', Logic will take a minute or so and then come up with the exact same message.

I can repeat this a million times, but won't be able to work on my project. What can I do to solve the problem or at least figure out with plugin is causing the issue?

Thanks for your help.

I'm thrilled to be able to share that I found the problem and solved the issue for me.

It was one particular audio unit that was causing this problem. Here is how I figured it out:

open a new, blank project

push F

find the project that doesn't open anymore

import the tracks from the old project one after another until the problem occurs

check out which plugins are used on this track

go to Library - Audio - Plug-Ins - Components

delete the plug ins that were used on the track that caused the issue (copy the plug in to the desktop so you have a backup)

this way I figured out "Glitch2" caused the issue for me.

Now I got my life back and can continue producing music.

I love ya'll.
