number pad display

Something i have wondered for years.

How to get a number pad up on the iphone keyboard. I don´t mean pressing the number option, 1,2,3 to show a number row, but to actually get the number pad up. I find using the row format of numbers difficult and more prone to errors, and would find it easier just to bring up a number pad, especially if typing many numbers.
