How do I get rid of a virus?

My phone has been going black and freezing the screen so i can’t tap it (or like losing sensitivity in the screen) and i can’t do anything with it. And then every 24ish hours it acts perfectly fine for like 10 minutes and then it acts weird again, i don’t know what virus it is or how i got it. But if anyone has any suggestions of something that might help i would really appreciate it. (i’ve tried restarting it and doing a factory reset, it didn’t make it go away)
