i cant hear people on calls unlesss on speaker

I made the IOS 17.5.1 update and I can’t hear people when I call them unless on speaker but they can hear me

Follow steps here If you hear no sound or distorted sound from your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch speaker - Apple Support
