FCPX Stabilization is always popping off?

I set a 'Stabilization'. It's there. It's working. I come back to the shot an hour later, or even ten seconds later and the 'Stabilization' has turned itself off. This is chronic. And a nightmare ... I keep watching through sequences to make sure everything is hunky dory ... and come back later and some of the clips have the 'Stabilization' unclicked, off, though I know for a fact it had been on and working shortly before.

Wondering if anyone has any ideas why this might be happening?

Yes, this can very well be the case but I do not monitor if analyzing for domination motion is still running as I usually set a bunch of things at the same time (LUT, stabilization, transitions, titles, ...) and then wait to see if tripod mode can be activated.

Still consider this a bug as this imposes restrictions on our workflows. Have not reported that specific one though as I think I have too little information to submit.

Mmm. Interesting, Stefan. Do you mean that you click 'on' the stabilization for a clip, then jump to the next clip and turn it 'on' while the first clip is 'analyzing for dominant motion'?

I'll be more conscious as I do this. Though I'm thinking I do one clip, make sure it is working, then do the next; so I'm not jumping ahead as clips are being analyzed.

Will report back what I find out by being more conscious.
