iPhone glitching when I am writing an email message

After the latest update, I've been experiencing an issue when I am drafting an email message.

When I'm in the midst of drafting a message, the phone will suddenly throw me out of the mail application, and I have to open the application back up to restart the message over and over until I can get pass the glitch and then send the message. The problem thus far appears to be erratic and only occurs when I use the Mail application on my phone.

I've tried shutting my phone off completely for brief periods of time but the glitching still continues and is starting to increase in frequency. What do you advise?

Thank you!

Here are a few steps you can try to resolve the issue with your Mail app:

1. Close the Mail App Completely:

- Swipe up from the bottom of the screen and hold to access the app switcher.

- Swipe up on the Mail app to close it completely.

- Reopen the Mail app and try drafting a message again.

2. Check for App Updates:

- Open the App Store and tap on your profile icon.

- Scroll down to see if there are any updates available for the Mail app or any related system apps.

3. Restart Your iPhone:

- Press and hold the side button along with either volume button until the power off slider appears.

- Drag the slider to turn off your iPhone.

- After the phone turns off, press and hold the side button again until you see the Apple logo.

4. Reset All Settings:

- Go to Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings.

- This will reset settings like Wi-Fi passwords, wallpapers, and other preferences but will not delete any data.

5. Update iOS:

- Check if there is a new iOS update available by going to Settings > General > Software Update.

- If there is an update, install it as it might contain bug fixes for your issue

6. Reinstall the Mail App:

- Delete the Mail app by pressing and holding the app icon, then tapping Remove App.

- Go to the App Store and reinstall the Mail app.

7. Check for Configuration Profiles:

- Go to Settings > General > VPN & Device Management.

- If there are any configuration profiles installed, try removing them to see if it resolves the issue.

If none of these steps resolve the issue, you may want to consider contacting Apple Support for further assistance.
