Macbook air makes noise on the right side of Trackpad when typing

This seems to be a hardware-related problem. But my (brand new) MacBook Air makes noise when I type. The noise comes from the right side of the trackpad. When my wrist rests there, the noise is gone and I can type normally.

Is this a manufacturing issue? Or is this normal? It's very annoying.

In-built MacBook Air trackpad acting crazy. The in-built trackpad in my newish MacBook Air has started acting erratically. When I place a finger on it, it starts clicking multiple times on its own. I have upgraded the op system to Sequoia 15.2 and the problem persists. I have no external hardware connected. The problem arises only once or twice a day. Why is my MacBook Pro trackpad clicking on its own? I have a Mac Book Pro 2022. In the last couple of weeks, when I run my finger over the trackpad, without pressing or clicking, it will click randomly itself often 2/3 clicks. I can rest my finger on the trackpad and feel it clicking away to itself. It's causing real problems as it keeps clicking on parts of pages/ things I don't want to open/ use/ buy! It sometimes goes hard and unresponsive intermittently too - so you can't press or click. It's less than 2 years old and very well looked after. I had my old Mac Book for years with no problems so this is very disappointing. Any advise warmly received. [Re-Titled by Moderator]

It seems like that the case is a bit loose there, I don’t know if it is normal, I Don’t own a MacBook Air so i cannot try it for you.

if you’re worried, take it back to the store where you’ve bought it to let it had looked after
