Remove fill collor

Good day.

In Numbers there is the option to pre-set fill colors so that cells can be filled with a pre-set color easily, see the picture.

In the past the box with pre-set colors has been filled with some not-used colors. I want to remove those not-used colors but I can't find the option to do so.

So the question is: How can I remove pre-set colors from the fill color box?

Thanks in advance for your answer and/or feedback and with kind regards,

Herman

I have the same question about how it is supposed to be done. I have a way to do it but it seems kinda strange. I stumbled upon it while trying to do what you are trying to do.

  1. Click and drag one of the color boxes away from its place in the grid and hold still for a moment. All of a sudden the original color box will look like it has been selected. You can let go now.
  2. Hit Delete
  3. Click on another box then Delete
