Does Apple offer price matching for its own products on shopping sites like Amazon?
I wanted to know if Apple does price matches if the item is being sold by Apple itself on shopping sites like Amazon.

This is a complicated issue. Apple online does not price match. Apple Retail Stores in the US (I’ve no experience overseas) >>may<< price match. There are lots of exceptions and you must talk to a store manager.
Here are just a few exceptions,
- limited sales like Black Friday
- discontinued products
- items sold at retailers that have a membership fee, charge for shipping etc.
- items that require purchase of additional products or services
It’s also per location. Meaning if an Apple Store has a retailer across the street selling the same product for less, they are more likely to match price. Like I said, it’s complicated, but that’s the nature of retail. So, ask the manager. The worst thing that will happen is the manager says no. The best thing is you get your discount. It never hurts to ask.
