Why aren't third-party Accessories compatible with Apple's Lost Mode?

So my headphones got stolen about three weeks ago(beats studio pros) and I did everything and tried everything to find them. Why is it that all other iPhone devices except headphones, have a lost or stolen mode Also, for third-party accessories, even though they’re signed to Apple are not compatible to mark them as lost or stolen like beats studio pros, for example
