Numbers and Pages

Suppose I have a table in Numbers with a formula in cell D4 that summarizes the values from cells A1, B2 and C3. For example:

A1 = 1

B2 = 2

C3 = 3

D4 = A1 + B2 + C3 (result: 6)

In the Pages document, I want to display the same formula with the result of calculations, for example: A1 + B2 + C3 = 6.

Is there a way to link these two documents in such a way that when the values in cells A1, B2 or C3 in the Numbers table change, the result is automatically updated in the Pages document?

Pages and Numbers maintain separate tables and as Yellowbox indicates, one cannot link content between them as one might do with counterpart applications in Microsoft Office or Office clones like LibreOffice.

You can copy and paste table content (including formulas) between Numbers and Pages tables though Pages table support is a subset of Numbers.
