Shared Note Not Updating

My wife and I have been trying to use a shared note for a couple months now. In the past we’ve never had issues, but now when she makes edits to the shared note I only see a blank square where her edits should be. I also don’t see her cursor in the shared note even though I have it toggled. She says she can see my edits and my cursor.

I even tried accessing iCloud notes web version but have the same issue. I’ve disabled iCloud notes and reenabled them, but that doesn’t work. She’s removed me from the note and added me back multiple times.
