Inaccurate exercise minutes

Apple Watch has now recorded 1437 exercise minutes as well as stand goal crazy. No! I do not have a fitness app running. No I do not have any workout apps at all running! Have recalibrated fitness in watch app.

How can I fix my Apple Watch exercise ring? How can I fix my Apple Watch exercise ring? At some point in the last couple months my Apple Watch has started only logging some of my exercise minutes during workouts. It seems this is because the watch only counts exercise “above a brisk walk” for the rings. I want to turn this feature off I use my Apple Watch almost solely for tracking my fitness. If I take an hour long, 2.5 mile walk I don’t want to look down and see my watch telling me I only did 36 minutes of exercise bc I didn’t meet some arbitrary cutoff for my heart rate. I want my rings to reflect my actual action for the day. If I can’t get that I might as well switch to a Fitbit lmao. Please help me figure out how to turn off Apple Watch choosing how much of a manually selected workout “actually counts”. Thanks

After 3 discussions with apple support the issue seems to be resolved today. Problem was being signed in with my media and purchase ID to workout and fitness apps while being signed into regular Apple ID in health app
