Fitness app giving incorrect statistics

The fitness app on my Apple Watch SE just told me I have closed my movement ring for the day. That's interesting, because I have been sitting in a chair for the last three hours. Is this a known issue with the fitness app, that it gives incorrect statistics?

This is embarrassing. I just realized why my watch keeps telling me I've beaten my move goal. My move goal is only set at 160 calories. I guess my watch automatically set that on my behalf? I will make sure to set my move goal much higher going forward.

Yes, setting a goal that is fairly easy is a good way to get motivated to start exercising. But if you’re routinely beating the goal early in the day, or a workout, set the goal higher and higher each week. If you’re an experienced exerciser, set your goals accordingly. You should be prompted to change you goals every Monday morning and depending on your achievements in the just completed week, your Watch will set your goals higher or lower based on past performance.
