Apple i13 pro-max now obsolete?

A week ago my internet connection died - message "Simm problem/SOS". I went to T-mobile, they took out the Simm and re-inserted. A few days later, same problem, I went back to T-mobile Market & 3rd St. San Francisco, they said that I have to buy an Iphone 15 or I will continue to have this problem.

The SIM itself may be failing. The people working in the store have no interest in fixing your problem. All they want to do is sell you another phone.

Before you do anything else, tell them to give you a replacement SIM.

If you still have problems after that, make an appointment at the Genius Bar. There may be a problem with the phone. It is not ‘obsolete’ by any stretch.
